Minimise consumption of alcohol the night before.

Eat some food before you arrive. Bring some snacks/lunch/drinks with you for longer sessions.
Wear comfortable clothing, especially clothing that will make access to your desired placement easy.
Bring entertainment such as books, headphones, iPad, laptop or anything that will help you sit through the duration of the appointment. Don't feel like you need to engage with me constantly. Do what you are most comfortable with.
Children are strictly not allowed in the tattoo area.
Please avoid bringing people who are not being tattooed. Having extra people around can and will distract me, other artists and yourself. Sometimes we do allow exceptions especially if you travelled a long way or are very nervous, but please remember this is not a hang out spot and respect the boundaries of other artists and clients. There will be a dedicated waiting area for them to wait, but if it's going to be a long session, they might want to find other things to do while they wait for you.
